By using Media Sniffer you agree to these terms. The software is provided for lawful, personal use.

Acceptance
If you do not agree, do not use the web app or Chrome extension. Operators of self-hosted instances may add their own rules on top of these.
Lawful use only
You may only download content you have the legal right to access and copy. Respect copyright, platform terms, DRM restrictions, and local law. Media Sniffer does not grant you any rights to third-party media.
No affiliation
Media Sniffer is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube, Google, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Meta, Vimeo, Dailymotion, X, Twitter, Reddit, Twitch, Pocket FM, or any other third-party service.
Extension distribution
The Chrome extension is distributed privately (zip / load unpacked). It is not offered through the Chrome Web Store. You install it at your own risk under Chrome’s developer mode policy.
Availability and accuracy
Platforms change frequently. Resolves may fail, formats may be incomplete, and features may break without notice. The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, authors and operators are not liable for damages arising from use of the software, including lost data, account bans, or legal claims related to downloaded content.
Changes
These terms may be updated on this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
